BITTER TRUTH

 * 📖 Jkwasi Wisdom Series* One day, the very people you sacrificed everything for may look at you and say, "We never forced you to do anything for us." Sacrifice without wisdom often leads to silent regret. Give — but don’t lose yourself. Love — but don’t erase your boundaries. Help — but don’t make people your god. Not everyone will value your sacrifices. So learn to give from strength, not desperation. > *jkwasi ✨*

*“The hunter who doesn’t hunt far from home will one day shoot his domestic animal.”* * Zambian Proverb* When a hunter refuses to go beyond familiar grounds, he risks destroying what feeds him. Comfort can become a trap. Fear of exploring new territories can turn strength into self-sabotage. Limited vision can cause internal damage. If you don’t expand your horizon, you may compete with your own people. If you don’t seek bigger opportunities, you may frustrate the blessings already in your hands. *Wisdom:* Go farther. Think bigger. Grow wider. Protect your household by enlarging your territory. Because sometimes, the real danger is not outside — it’s a small mindset. *✍🏽 Jkwasi Wisdom Series*

STRENGTHENED IN THE MIDST OF OPPOSITION

MORNING REFLECTIONS THURSDAY, 18TH DECEMBER 2025 THEME: STRENGTHENED IN THE MIDST OF OPPOSITION TEXT: Nehemiah 4:2 “What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble—burned as they are?” Beloved of Zion Congregation, Sanballat’s words were meant to mock, discourage, and weaken the resolve of God’s people. Opposition often speaks loudly when God’s work is progressing. As we continue the work God has entrusted to us as a congregation, this Scripture reminds us that ridicule and doubt are signs that the assignment matters. The work of God at Zion may appear small or weak to critics, but it carries divine strength. When God is involved, even burned stones can rise again. What others call impossible, God calls purposeful. Let the voice of faith within Zion Congregation be louder than every voice of mockery. People of God (Zion Congregation): 1. Expect o...

Life is like a Bus

Life is like a bus. People get on, and some get off. Not everyone will stick with you forever. In business, I have learnt one thing, customers will call for enquiries and never buy from you. Some will come into your shop but not everyone will buy. Some will also buy and never come back again. Others buy and come back and they stick with you as if you are the only person who sells what they want. 🫠 *Note this*: Not every relationship will end up in marriage. Take your time to build healthy relationships. Invest in potential customers. Be nice to them because you will never know who will come back. Be open to friendships or acquaintances and nurse the relationship gradually. Don't be quick to leave your shop to someone you hardly know. That is to say, don't indulge in early sexual relationship with someone you hardly know. You might end up as an open market with shoplifters. Do you get it? Think about it. 🤔 *jkwasi (Sir Joe)*

There had been unconfirmed reports of the death of the paramount chief over the past few days. The official announcement of his death to the Asantehene is in line with Asante tradition and marks the end of an era for one of the most respected traditional leaders in the country. Daasebre Osei Bonsu II died at the age of 86 years. He recently made headlines when he issued an ultimatum to some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in his traditional area to apologise for saying “no Asante will be allowed to become MCE of Mampong.” Daasebre Osei Bonsu II, known in private life as Saint Oswald Gyimah-Kessie, was born on December 31, 1939. He was a lawyer and an eco...
